        That’s hard. I think I would name it something after Wales as that is where I am from. Maybe Walesenium LOL or Cymrusium which would be the welsh variation 🙂

        Ruthenium already exists which makes me very happy! So I’d possibly name it after my dog (I would of course get a dog to celebrate). Or perhaps something to help people remember it’s properties? I would try and use a letter not found in the periodic table at the moment too. Anyone care to guess what letters are not there currently?

        My personal favourite is unobtanium, from Avatar. I somehow doubt that it would get past the naming committee though!

        I think character Walter White has popularised chemistry to the general public although I think the image is not a great one for us (great programme though).
