I am going to vote in. This is because science is funded a lot by the EU and I would worry about what would happen to science in this country if we didn’t have that.
Also I think a lot of talented people come to the UK to do science etc. and it would be a shame to lose free movement and lose people like that because they can’t come here or won’t come here any more.

There is a lot of uncertainty in what will happen if we leave and I’m not a gambling person so I guess the less risky option appeals to me.

I have not decided exactly what to do – I don’t want to leave but the renegotiated deal to remain does not look as strong as it could have been

That said the Cornish Pasty Association says stay – so I’ll vote remain

        Good a reason as any.

Joking aside I think the leave campaign includes too much unpleasant attitude, we can’t let Europe go down this road again

I am going to vote to stay. I am proud that we work with the rest of the EU on a lot of things including science (which the EU does a lot of funding). Also in my town of Coventry a lot of funding has been provided to improve the city by the EU. I also enjoy that we can freely move and work in all the member countries and all of the people it has brought to the UK. I think it’s a shame that young people don’t get more of a say in this referendum as it’s you guys who will live with the results for the longest!

I am voting to leave the EU. As I think I mentioned somewhere else, as long as I have had an interest in politics I have wanted to leave the EU, and am very glad that we are getting a referendum on the subject.

I don’t particularly like the style in which both sides have fought their respective campaigns, I don’t think either side has been particularly truthful or accurate.

In my eyes though, a relatively short period of instability (~5 years or so I am thinking) is a small price to pay to set our own destiny.
