• Question: Do you think the ending of 21 Jump Street portrays a good impression of covalent bonds?

      The description they give of a covalent bond is very accurate “they share electrons, they both have something the other needs, so they stick together”. It’s scientifically accurate! Well done 21 Jump St!
      I did have to check this out on youtube again as I couldn’t remember exactly what they said in it.
      But when he say “no dude we aren’t atoms” it’s true but does he realise there are millions of covalent bonds in his body?! So he is MADE of atoms 🙂

      I can’t say I’ve seen the film – so am glad Laura has! To be honest, pretty rare for a film to be anything close to scientifically accurate.

      I did look up the trailer, looks quite amusing, so might put that on my to watch list.
