• Question: Is it possible to preserve a living human body and for it to walk again in the far future?

      It is possible to cryogenically freeze a body so that it can be preserved and these people do it so that if any technology becomes available later on to bring them back to life then they would like to be brought back to life. So the preserving methods are there if we can get the defrosting right. However, the technology to bring us back and walk around again is not there yet. Although apparently they have now found a gene which activates when you die so maybe we are on our way to making progress in this field.

      Laura’s pretty much said it. The issue isn’t the freezing at the moment, its the thawing. I reckon we’ll get there though, might take a few years, but we’ll get there.
